As of September 2013, Gerolymatos International recovered control of its property in Asklipiou 4, Kryoneri, just across the street from its Head Offices.
The property houses 13,400 m2 of buildings on a 27,000 m2 stretch of land. It holds 3,000 m2 of office space, a GMP compliant Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant (the ex-GSK pharmaceutical production plant) producing creams, tablets, capsules and syrups, with fully equipped Chemical & Microbiological Labs and with entirely automated EOF stickering & repackaging units. The property also boasts two separate warehouses of pharmaceutical specifications with a capacity of 5.200 pallets, certified under ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 13485:2003 and featuring, amongst others, a Building Management System monitoring 5.000 items, temperature-controlled environment and large capacity refrigerated rooms. Furthermore, having additionally acquired all manufacturing, warehousing & office equipment, the company anticipates reactivating the production of pharmaceutical products in this plant in the very near future.
Gerolymatos International has already moved the operations of its Logistics, OTC and Optics divisions to this property.
